REMINDER: The church office will be closed, Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.

WORSHIP CELEBRATION – Join us for an awesome night of worship and fellowship September 3rd. As we kick off our fall Oasis with a bang! The worship celebration will follow the oasis meal and begin at 6:30pm. Over an hour of musical and artistic worship with our family and friends! Perfect night to invite a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or relative to experience the love and talents of Our Saviour’s Lutheran church. Join with us in the chorus of praise to our Lord & King!

OASIS ON WEDNESDAYS – Wednesday night Oasis will begin September 3rd. Join us each Wednesday evening with a meal at 5:45 pm, followed by many activities and Bible studies. Check the newsletter and website for more information.

NEW BIBLE STUDY – We will be starting a new streaming series by John Paul Jackson called “The Art of Hearing God”. Classes will begin Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Christian Ed Building. Each session should last between 1½ and 2 hours, depending on the length of follow-up discussions. This course is designed to give you step-by-step instructions and practical tools to hear the voice of the Lord clearly and consistently. Please sign-up in the Narthex. The cost is $75/person, but will be reduced to $65 if there are more than 11 people signed up. This comes out to be about $4 a session and can be paid weekly. BLOOD DRIVE – OSL will have a blood drive on September 21st from 8:30 am – 12:00 noon in the MPR. Please try to give.

NEW 4:15 PM WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY – Pastor Waak will be leading a new streaming series by John Paul Jackson called “The Art of Hearing God”. Classes will begin Wednesday, September 3rd at 4:15 pm in the Christian Ed Building. The cost is $75/person. If you have any questions please contact the church office 575-4305.

BIBLE HIGHLIGHTING – There will be two Bible Highlighting sessions for parents of students in the 2nd and 7th grades, one Wednesday, September 3rd at 5:30 pm in the MPR and the other Sunday, September 7th at 9:15 am in the MPR. Parents you only need to attend one session. Bibles are provided. Bible presentation will be Sunday, September 14th at the 10:30 am service. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Kalmus.

NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS – Glenn Hand’s Sunday school class will be starting a new DVD series by Philip Cary called “The History of Christian Theology”. The series will start Sunday, September 7th in the Jerusalm room.

NEW TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY – Beth Moore’s “Children of the Day” facilitated by Tammy Hartman begins Tuesday, September 9th. Class will meet in the original chapel on Ben Jordan from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm  (optional free-will offering meal begins at 5:30 pm).      Cost: $20.00 for member book. SPRINGFEST KICK-OFF MEETING – There will be a kickoff meeting on Thursday, September 4th at 6:00pm in the chapel for the 7th Annual Springfest to be held April 19, 2015.  Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to join us for this meeting. FAMILY DAY AT COLETO CREEK RESERVOIR – Cary Voss is organizing a family fun day at Coleto Creek Reservoir on Saturday, September 6th 8am – 8pm. All are invited, bring family & friends. There is a cost of $9.00 per vehicle to enter the park. Cary will BBQ please bring meat, side dishes, desserts & drinks to share.
