Where did the summer go?How did time fly so quickly?Did you get all your planned tasks and activities completed?I know my “to do list” still has several jobs awaiting my attention.But now it’s time to stop looking back and concentrate on moving into the future.All our church programs and ministries anew are moving ahead.Sunday School celebrated Rally Day and all the children began class in a new grade level.Music ministry areas are starting rehearsals for the fall season, and new classes and programs are gearing up for Wednesday evenings.Adult Sunday School classes continue meeting weekly, and the Gideon sewing ministry is in full production on Monday mornings. There are many activities you could put on your church “to do list.”Pray about your commitment and involvement at OSL.Find an area of service or ministry to help you share God’s love.You will be blessed many times over.
Sr. Choir rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 7 pm in the Choir Room.It’s a great time to join the choir as we prepare our weekly anthems and begin working on the Christmas cantata.Come and share your love of the Lord as we lift our voices in song and join our hearts in worship and fellowship.
