Have you been fooled by the weather this week?Just when you think winter is over we get another blast of cool air, and we have to get the jackets out again.Sometimes that can happen to us spiritually.We are walking closely with the Lord, and our spiritual thermometer seems just right.Then, our schedule fills up, personal time gets pushed aside, life gets messy and all of a sudden we feel like God left us out in the cold.The truth is that we left Him out of our schedule.Use the season of Lent to reestablish the “put God first habit”.We can keep ourselves in the spiritual temperate zone with personal prayer and devotions in addition to weekly worship and fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters.May you be blessed!
Rehearsals continue each Wednesday evening following our Lenten worship.Please note:During Holy Week we will meet Maundy Thursday at 6:15 pm to rehearse for Good Friday and Easter.Friday we will also meet at 6:15 pm to rehearse prior to worship.We will not meet on Wednesday, March 31.The choir will sing at both 8:00 and 10:30 services on Easter Sunday, April 4.
