2012 is off to a fast start…..February is looming on the horizon. As I’ve been preparing the script for the Kids’ Praise program, “Revved Up and Ready To Go,” I’m reminded that we often get caught up in the busyness of life and lose sight of our purpose. The children will be addressing that topic as we learn about the race of our lives. The point to remember is that the winner of a race is not always the one who goes the fastest. The race of our life is very much about perseverance and endurance. The good news is that we are never in the lane alone, and we are never required to supply all the power that moves us along on the road to heaven, the finish line.God promises His constant presence and energy every single second. He’s only a prayer away.
Kids’ Praise is at the starting line of a new and exciting program!Revved Up and Ready To Go promises to remind us all how to complete the race of our life.Children in grades K-5 are invited to join us on Wednesday afternoons at 5:15 pm in the choir room.Performance dates will be announced soon.We will be reading for parts each week so we can start memory early this semester.I will email scripts when parts are finalized.Ash Wednesday is February 22.We will have worship at 7:00 pm.Kid’s Praise will not rehearse.Mark your calendars now.
NOTE:For those new to the music ministry, use door D on the Sam Houston side of the church to easily access the choir room.
